More on the build: We partnered with Matt Noble of Ventura-based Noble Fabrication to custom build a 1949 Chevy 5-window pick-up truck. After nine months of work, we’re excited to say the truck is done, runs smooth and stops on a dime — and we’re giving it away to one lucky winner.
Noble Fabrication specializes in the traditional customization of rods, customs, and lowriders and this ’49 Chevy pickup is no different. Perfecting the stance, pairing it with classic whitewall tires, and getting the sheet metal prepped and gapped for a slick coat of gloss black paint were first on the order. The truck was then finished with a classic white pleated bench seat, restored dash and gauges, and a reliable small block Chevy engine for easy cruising.
