Time is the most precious element of human existence.

— Tyler Bereman

When Lyon Herron passed away last year, Tyler Bereman wanted to honor the ripple effect he had on both his life and the lives of everyone else who loved him as Tyler did. “The Lyon Effect,” captures the essence of who Lyon was and shows the world how much he meant to us all.

A self-produced project from Tyler himself, you can watch “The Lyon Effect” in full below. After you’re done, you can read the note Tyler penned for Lyon celebrating his life, friendship, and love for finding true happiness while going fast.

In honor and dedication to my dear friend, Lyon Herron.

Dear Ly Dawg,
Thank you for sharing your story with the world.

Being lucky enough to call you a friend has changed the way I look at life, FOREVER.

Your vulnerability, loving positivity, and warrior mindset never wavered through your own lifelong battle. Handling it all with a smile on your face, a positive mental attitude, and pure class.

The ripple effect you’ve left behind will have a lasting impression on your family, friends and anyone whose path you crossed.

Without you even knowing it, those core values have helped me overcome my own countless injuries and mental battles.

It has taught me to stare adversity square in the face. By accepting defeat in the moment; and using it as positive motivation to learn, grow, and continue living.

Your time here has taught us all how to truly live, no matter the cards we are dealt.

Having learned your perspective on life, has helped me welcome these opportunities like X games with open arms.

Allowing me to honor you, and your ripple effect.

Your energy is still very present in my day-to-day life, but your work here is not done! As it’s up to us as humans, to spread that Lyon Heart and warrior mindset far and wide..

THANK YOU LY DAWG!

I’ll see you on the other side!

Thanks for always having my back, and I hope you enjoy the ride!

Ly Dawg On Our Chest, Ly Dawg On Our Backs, Ly Dawg In Our Hearts…Forever.
