We were more than stoked to be invited back to Born Free in Silverado, California, this year. Born Free is always a killer event. It’s a summer weekend with incredible bikes, memorable people, and an overall phenomenal vibe. Add some icy beers into that mix, and you can see why we’re always more than happy to join the fold.
Roughly 15,000 moto enthusiasts showed up to attend the festivities on both Saturday and Sunday. At a balmy 90 degrees (it’s a dry heat), there was no excuse to not be out and about and the most of the time in the sun.
805 Authenticos Bryan Thompson, Ashmore Ellis, Mark “Rusty Butcher” Atkins, Pancho and the Wizards, David Bond, and, of course, Meatball joined us for all the warm weather and good times. We poured beers and slung out clothes while they, and everyone else, wandered around with a cold one looking at custom builds, vintage finds, and various other moto-inspired treasures.
Founded by two motorcycle enthusiasts, Mike David and Grant Peterson, Born Free has been going on for more than a decade now. Their goal with Born Free was to showcase custom-built bikes by some of the best builders from around the globe. And they always deliver.
It was another weekend with blazing sunshine, good company, and and even better times. We can’t thank Born Free enough for the invite again, and we can’t wait to be back next year. Until then.
