To kick off the release of Mind Surfing, our official documentary about Conner Coffin, we held an epic premiere party in Huntington Beach.
With the entirety of the surf world already present in Orange County for the US Open of Surfing, the vibes couldn’t have been better. We had competitors, fans, and friends alike show up for a night that was all about celebrating Conner and, of course, sharing plenty of cold ones. Mind Surfing director Keith Malloy, Grant Noble, Tyler Bereman, Courtney Conlogue, and Greyson Fletcher — plus all our good friends from the World Surf League — were just some of the legendary people who came out to show their support for Conner.
With an outdoor venue just steps from the sand, everyone was able to enjoy the sunset with an 805 or Cerveza in hand. Once the sun dipped beneath the Pacific and the lights dimmed, Conner and Keith took the mic for a few words of thanks before turning up the volume and rolling the projectors. The audience reacted to the movie with plenty of hoots and cheers. Once the film ended, everyone stuck around for a full night of icy beers, live music, and good times.
We’ll be at the US Open of Surfing for the remainder of the week. Look for our booth and beach bar on the sand and come by for a cold one.
And be sure to check out what the film itself. Mind Surfing starts streaming on our YouTube channel on August 5. Subscribe now so you don’t miss it.
